About Me

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

Proverbs 31:25

Umm..well..kind of. I mean, I try! I try really really hard!

Sometimes it’s so hard to be who we WANT to be!

Hi! My name is Crystal. I’m a 27 year old Texas stay at home mom. I live on coffee and my son’s cold chicken nuggets that he refused to eat for lunch.

I try to make everything homemade and healthy (you’ll find some recipes on this blog). But sometimes I’ll eat a Little Debbie and blame it on my 3 year old. Hey..it is what it is.

My husband and I have been married for 8 years now! We met at a feed store (the country store for farmers and ranch hands). I worked there and he was a customer. Yeah..I totally hit on him!

5 years after we said “I do”, we had a major answered prayer! A baby boy! Who is now a 3 year old boy that’s 100% from sun up to sun down. Like, no joke. He doesn’t nap. And he even lasts way past sun down! Like, till 10-11 pm.

As much as I try to get him to eat well balanced meals, sometimes he eats 3 toaster strudels a day because I’m not mentally prepared for the battle. Anyone relate?

We just started homeschooling this little tike. Well, preschool homeschool. Gotta start somewhere right? This will DEFINITELY be blogged about haha!

Our first homeschool photo! Notice the strudel? I wasn’t joking…

Fortunately I work from home on my own terms (I can help you if you’re interested). So I have the ability to mom first, work second. Which is also a subject here at proverbmom!

Join me as I share my struggles and triumphs as a Proverb wife and mother going through this thing called life.
